Actually i'm configuring the connection to internet, using speedtouch USB
ADSL RFC1483. To start
I already used the page tittled " Linux kernel driver for SpeedTouch USB
modems " , no connection yet. My ISP use SpeedTouch PPPOE LAN Miniport
Driver but my computer is standalone. The
OS is Mandriva (free) 2006.
During the boot a message " bringing up interface ppp0" failed: take 10
minutes and after a lot of errors like " Nov 5 19:39:14 201 pppd[9381]:
Couldn't get channel number: Input/output error"
