I don't know what is the name of the speedtouch profile on opensuse.
If it was used, the timeout would occure only after 3*50=150s.

But you could look with a grep -r yourlogin /etc to find the profile used.
It should work if the parameter is written in /etc/ppp/options as pppd read
with this file with every profile.
