This is not good but it should not be related to speedtouch problem as
speedtouch is on 1-2 hub (see bellow)
You should consider to add a powered usb hub to feed usb devices as needed
or plug them differently

speedtouch look correctly initialised
at this point, you should be able see speedtouch modem doing
cat /proc/net/atm/devices


This look a configuration attempting to start a classical modem, this should
not happen with adsl modem
