Two weeks is no problem for me to review and accept a patch. I guess that the initial code you linked to has evolved some -- if you send me the current version, I'll get to it this weekend. If the work is still in progress, there's nothing preventing you from making a branch, either in the Sphinx Google repo or otherwise, as long as a patch to the trunk can be created easily.
