I can not get the search function to work anymore. I get stuck with the message 'Preparing search...' and the ... after 'Searching' is blinking. Search used to work when I used Sphinx (in mid October 2008), but now when I installed latest version on a new computer I got this problem.
Google brough up a discussion from November 2008 (http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg00661.html). My problem seems to be the same as the problem described in that mail. Unfortunately I could not find any solution in that thread. It was said that the problem was fixed in version 0.5.1 - But I'm still having this problem with version 0.5.1! Anybody know how I can fix this? This is Sphinx 0.5.1 with Python 2.5.2 on Windows Vista. The problem is there both with IE 7.0 and Firefox 3.0.6.
