I suppose such a comment+feedback app could certainly be written in one summer, but possibly leaving an amount of time to spare, so having more work in the pipeline could be useful. Depends a bit on what features are required. Anyway, it could be quite rewarding if the app eventually hosted Python's documentation. (If the aim is to produce a general documentation editor, I'd hope to see the work making use of the effort that has gone into Pydocweb -- there's already a wheel, even though it's not completely round and has more nasty corners than Gaël implied :) Note, though, that I'm not directly involved in Sphinx development (mostly a happy user only) and not at all with the Sphinx GSoC; just chipping in my 2c from the sidelines because of general interest.
