At least it's not there for sphinx's literalinclude directive.

In fact, that directive doesn't seem to do tab expansion at all?
I had a bug report about "black boxes" in rst2pdf because the raw tabs were 
getting to it.

I expanded the tabs in rst2pdf, but it would probably be nicer if it behaved 
like the docutils include directive and did a configurable tab expansion at 
the directive level instead.
