If you want output-independend replacements, you can try an inline image (via substitution) in a generic admonition directive. Alternatively, as the title of specific admonitions is language dependent, you can customize it via the language settings. I don't think this will be possible with an image, however the full range of unicode characters is up for choice. Untested.
