Hi

Because I use the command line a lot, I like to keep my files relatively
tidy.

How do I wrap long lines at the 80char mark without that wrap being
reflected in the end product?

eg:

* Dot point
* another point
* a really looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong point
that I'd like to wrap for when in vim
* but keep the dot point and "single line" for html and pdf.
* like \ in a shell script

cheers
L.
