Hi ! What probably happend is this: You have used the master git branch (development branch) that had changes that reuqires new driver, so probably what happend is that you tried to install driver that is in wrong version. The easiest soultion would be using spice from the stable (0.4) branch, Both the spice server, and the spice qemu (vdesktop) with the precompiled driver you have downloaded. Another way to solve it - if you want to try out the development branch, is to compile by yourself the driver. Another option, is, if you already have everything installed and interested in using the development branch - I can send you precompiled driver for the latest changes.
