I've recently attempted to have a Mallory Unilite distributor installed on a 1978 Spitfire. I purchased it from VB after waiting a month on my mechanic. Now my mechanic is telling me that the drive shaft on the new distributor is about 1/8 of an inch too short. Has anyone else successfully installed this distributor or encountered the same problem?
