Thomas, I have a Mallory Unilite distributor on my '77 1500. I had no problem with the installation. The hardest part was gathering up enough nerve to drill the shaft to install the drive dog! A friend if mine, also in the GTA, recently installed the same distributor in his '77 1500, also without problems.
