Hi Guys,(And Gals)
Well, the 64 Herald is now a large step closer... Today I actually bought the paint I
intend to use- Sikkens, in a base coat/clear coat, of the Chrysler 2001/2002 Red,
color code "PEL". While not an original color, I decided had it been available, they
might have used it, and besides, it will look great on the car! Luckily, they changed
brands recently at the paint shop I use, so they were selling at a discount- $250
worth of paint for $140!
I am hoping to have the car painted by next Sunday, and will then assemble the rest...
Soon, I will have a Triumph to drive!
The 60 TR3 Project car, by the way, is still available- I would like to realize in the
area of $1,250 for it, which is a little below price guide price from 1997, in its
current condition. No title, missing a few parts, needs total restoration, engine
appears freshly rebuilt, on own tires, and rolls easily... Anyone interested, please
contact me- she needs a new home, and needs it now- other option, part her out on
e-bay... Hate to do it to a restorable car tho.
