Rich, Any basic 'tool' will do. What I always use is the end of a NEARLY flat ended bolt, one that has JUST a slight angle to the tip, which will 'curl' the metal when used with a small tapping hammer, and a blanket or something similarily soft behind the button head. Tap too hard, and your outside snap will have the slightly flat spot in the center (like almost every Spit already has).
Otherwise, the actual tool is cheap... yet doesn't work any better.
