Hey Listers,

Arrarararrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
hhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My hands are cut and I've muttered more swear words today than my entire life
combined....

I finally got my parts - if you remember I needed to replace the manifold-head
and manifold-exhaust gaskets....

However - with everything put back together it doesnt want to work. The engine
lacks power (I'd describe it as lazy - the engine speeds up much slower) and
when I put my foot down it misfires (only once). At first it didnt quite want
to start - but I expected that because it has been siting in the same place
for 10 days or so. Its never sat for that long - Ive driven it almost everyday
since I got it.

It really doesnt have any power to go up the hill I live on. It pulls away -
but to get it to go anywhere I'd seriously need to rev the engine - so I
havent tried to drive it.

The misfire is just on sharp acceleration - and Im guessing it called that -
or perhaps a backfire - small amount of smoke comes out of the k&n's
accompanied by a sort of slap/pop noise from the engine.

The only thing I have changed is the inlet manifold - which I swapped for a
new one I happened to have. (the other one was broken where it attaches to the
exhaust manifold)

And the ignition leads *are* on the right way.... Ive tightened up the all the
exhaust as much as I can - although there might be a chance its not quite as
tight as it should be.

As ever your suggestions will be most appreciated....
