Thanks for the input on the a/c.  You've made some good points to take 
into consideration.

The Mk 3 doesn't have any of the hood vents. I'm not sure how much 
change took place in the cooling system between the Mk2 and the Mk3 
except that I think they went to an electric fan.   Were there other 
differences?
