Tim, >From what I remember of this question being asked before, the stud pattern on the Spit is not common - apart from the obvious Herald/GT6, the TR7 is pretty much the only other car to share the stud pattern. Possibly also Lotus Elan (and other 60's Lotus'??), which I know shared much of the Spitfire front suspension.
I'm pretty sure nothing from any common modern car fits, which is why pretty much all after-market alloys are no good, unless the stud holes are custom drilled. Remember that all modern cars are likely to have the PCD in mm, and the Spit studs are on an imperial PCD.
