Hi there listers....
Im trying to fit my water valve to my car - currently I dont have one - so the heat is on all the time - in the recent weather this is just not good for my health. And Ive got to drive all the way to Pinewood Studios tomorrow - which is a long trek for my Spit - probably hitting lots of nice traffic around the M25 too. Rimmer - I don't think - has a diagram of how it goes on - at least not on the website (left my catalogue at college!! damn!) - I think I can work out where the bracket attaches - but what puzzles me is how the valve attaches to that. So far Ive figure that I have the valve on one side of the bracket, and on the other the connection to the hose - but this doesnt seem very water tight to me. In the same bag that the PO left the water valve there are some round rubber washers - are they meant to go somewhere? Stuff I have at the minute: valve, connection for the hose going to the heater, 2 nuts and bolts, 2 rubber ring thingys, r shaped rubber hose, jubilee clips. Stuff I may have in the bags of stuff the PO gave me: various bolts, old rags, bearings of some sort, strange metal bits, plastic things, rubber pipes of different shapes, hey, there could even be an engine hiding in there somewhere :) who knows what he game me......
