Sounds like the sending unit has been installed backwards. >Temperature gauge - seems to just go all the way to hot - on startup Probably a bad sending unit. >Gearbox oil - feels way too stiff - like its full of engine oil or something Engine oil is about the same viscosity as gear oil, or slightly less. It won't make the box feel stiff. Lack of lubrication on the plastic pivot ball of the shifter will though. >Centre console - make holes and bolt down Holes are already there.
