Heh, yes. before I owned a proper classic (I didn't count the 14-21yr old minis I drove before) I didn't get what the fuss was about with originality (I love tinkering with electronics and dreamed of doing a custom dash in the mini) but now I feel like I'm driving a piece of history not just a posing car and as the MkII is one of the rarer spits I almost don't feel like I've got the authority to go changing it. Mind you I don't think it's concours condition so I guess I shouldn't worry from that point of view.
