I'm thinking about using one of my spare swing spring rear ends in a trike, and I'm wondering what the effect would be of using an anti-roll bar instead of radius rods to locate the hub uprights. I realize this would take away a lot of the independence between left and right wheels, but don't see that as a problem. I'd think it would also eliminate any chance of tuck under.
The other alternative I've considered is to make up some really long radius rods which would "toe in" toward each other at the front for mounting to the bike frame (see the bottom section of http://www.carcentric.com/CX500trike.htm for drawings on how this would be built). To those with an opinion, which approach would be "least worst?" M D "Doc" Nugent Renton, WA __________________________________ Yahoo!
