Hi all, Im not sure what my rear spring is - is there an obvious way of identifying if its a fixed spring or a swing spring? It's a mk3 - but oddly has a later 4 stud spring box - so Im hoping it has the swing spring too! James 69 Signal Red Spit James The early springs have flat leaves throughout whereas the swing spring has a hump right in the center of the second leaf. This is to accommodate the bolt that secures the lower leaf and the others to rock. The early springs are held im place by a top plate whereas the swing springs are held in place by a box that covers all the leaves but has holes in 2 sides through which the above mentioned bolt goes. You would be much better off using the early spring and adding a camber compensator than converting to a swing spring. Joe *** http://www.team.net/the-local *** Your messages not reaching the list?
