Thank you everyone for your help with that. It turns out that all i needed was a good pry bar and a rubber malllet. But now that the differential is in...i can't get the leaf spring to go down far enough to fasten to the differential. I thought maybe i could disconnect the leaf spring from the vertical link, lower the spring enough to get the nuts on the studs over the metal plate and then get the leaf spring back on the vertical link. Is there an easier way? Thanks again, Dave Dave, There is a tool that the factory used to bend the spring while attaching the vertical link. It is a long rod with two sets of tabs welded on so that you can fix it to the spring in 2 places and is long enough that when you force down on it sufficient leverage exists to flex the spring enough to fit into the link. If you want to come down to AZ, I'll lend you mine! :) Joe *** http://www.team.net/the-local *** Your messages not reaching the list?
