Not Spit, but for Brit!!!

My family and I are in the planning stage to come to London and parts 
west in 2006 May-June. We are taking a tour in Ireland, but want to 
visit Glastonbury and other special places in that general area to see 
those places that have a link to the understanding of the heritage of 
Israel's movement to the west.

I was wondering if there are any folks on the list that live in that 
area or have knowledge to share about how much time we should give to 
see things. (I am talking days not years). The best B&B/Hotel etc. 
places to eat, etc. Also, we will be on our own these days and need to 
get around, so was looking for car rental tips, mass transit tips, etc.

We have been to England before, but only a short time and on a organized 
tour. This will be all on our own till we meet up with the tour in Dublin.

Please contact me off list as I don't want to waste the space for 
important info on our spits/LBC's
