You will know if its your stabilizer if your fuel tank reads + 1/4 of a tank. ie you run out when it says you've got a 1/4 left...

Where do I start to find the fault? The Haynes manual says only to "replace defective units as they are not repairable." I'd hate to replace the sender, gauge and stabilizer all at once!
