I am contemplating powder coating the set of headers that I just finished building. Since they are just bare metal now is the time to do it, however I am not sure of the hot powder coats. Anybody have any experience with them? I ordered Eastwoods 1000 deg silver and plan on using that, but if they really dont hold up all that well, Ill just paint them with VHT. After all, that I can retouch if necessary and the old manifolds look just fine with the VHT that has been on them for several years now.
Yes, I know Jet hot ceramic coat is better, I have my other set done that way, I just don't want to spend that much on theese particular items - Barry Schwartz San DIego, CA -------------------------------------------------------------------- myhosting.com - Premium Microsoft.
