Thanks to all who replied, but according to Fred, the guru of
Powdercoating, (plus my own experience and others), headers must run
hotter.  So after Freds comment, VHT is what I'm going to use
Really the only way to go is ceramic coating (which apparently I was one of
the first to get my headers done with Jet Hot's service) but I just don't
want to shell out another hundred or so to get these done - Those old
headers are still on the V6 Spitfire and still look good with virtually
everyday driving, and with only a few small areas that became dull - the
formulations today are even better than they were back then and these old
headers were done probably twenty years ago 

But VHT will be fine for these - once again, the list comes through!
