There's a metal, ~2.5 inch long piece of twisted metal(90 degrees) that has 2 holes(1 long, one short) that I assume is for the link to the exhaust from the overdrive adaptor. There's even an elongated bolt for it. Which bolt hole does this go on for the J-type overdrive adaptor at the bottom? The left, or the right?
