I recently purchased a set of Minator wheels for my
'80 Spitfire. When my local tire shop was mounting the
tires, they really marked up one wheel badly and took
about three 1/8" chips out of the paint on a second
one.

The shop is definitely going to replace the one wheel
that is badly marked. However I didn't notice the
marks on the second wheel until I was getting ready to
mount them on the car.

For anyone that has Minator wheels, how well does the
paint on them stand up? If they are prone too paint
chips I won't hassle the shop to fix/replace the wheel
with the small marks. But if the paint is generally
very durable and doesn't usually get marked up, I will
look into getting that wheel fix/replace as well.

Thanks
