BTW, the SpitBits e-catalog has photos of both types of calipers. Did you try to use the new caliper with the old rotor? I assume that the currently-available rotors are repros. Maybe hey are not properly made?
I recently needed new rear brake cylinders. The available parts are repros. They are fairly good, but the surfaces that slide on the backing plate were not machined smooth, and I had to dress them with a file. A lifetime of experience has taught me that report parts are NEVER as good as originals. :-( Doug On Mon, Mar 3, 2014 at 5:44 PM, Dennis Reese <[email protected]>wrote: > I suspect so -- no marking but judging from the price that's a good guess. > I bought them from Moss.
