Folks, I'm getting ready to replace my OEM tires with Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position rubber and I wanted to run this past the list before I hit the submit button on the order (http://www.tirerack.com/tires/bridgestone/bs_s03.jsp). I autocross my car and am wondering if moving up from the 195/60R15 to a 205/55R15 would be a good step or if I should remain with the OEM size. Are there issues to consider between these two competing sizes or is "wider is better" the right philosophy. I'm not at all interested in any sort of looking cool factor. Performance is all that matters.
If you guys have any thoughts or recommendations even for different tire models please let me know. Thanks! Contact Haiku: This is the low-down For 'portant stuff or chit chat. E-mail is best, yes!
