Hey guys, Our '98 SL seems to idle roughly and want to stall when we come to a stop and the clutch is pushed in. If we put it in neutral and take our foot off the clutch it clears up immediately. The car's got over 120,000 miles on it with the original clutch and my wife commutes about 80 miles a day in it, much of it being stop and go. My guess is it needs a new clutch. What do you guys think? If so, how much do you think the dealership would charge for it, or would it be worthwhile for me to buy the necessary tools and learn how to do a clutch job? -- ----------------------------------------------------------- Don Neudecker -----------------------------------------------------------
