Replacing the struts with new KYB GR-2s alone will probably help a lot. I don't know how long springs tend to last - I've never heard of them going bad. However, you are the third owner of those Eibachs. I was the second, and SPOC founder Bob McCouch was the first! But the cheapest thing to do is get new struts, swap the existing Eibachs onto them, and go with that.
H&R sports are a little stiffer, I'm told, with a somewhat harsher ride. Carreras (which are nearly impossible to get these days) are recommended. H&R race springs are right out unless you have Carreras. Ask Jamin why.
