The garage didnt bleed them properly. Take it back
and make them do it... as far as the squeeling brake pads - stick with OE
pads from the dealership. A bit more money, but a much better
pad.

Sounds more like a leak or something. Your fluid really only
effects pedal feel after racing or extreme use. What did you do when you
worked on them? They may need bleeding if you had the lines open or maybe
more fluid.
Well, Its not as bad as it sound i
guess, what i had done wasall of my rear brakes by a garage
(calipers/rotors/pads) Before that about 3 weeks i personally with the help of
fellow Saturneers replaced the front rotors and padswith out disconnecting
anything. The front pad/rotor settup squeals like a Chrsyler product
when stoping. Dont know what these brake components were made of but they must
suck. Picked em up at the local parts place. I just figured it was fluid
because the pressure needed to stop is more than i ever remember. The garage
must have bled them. Its npt spongy but takes alot of pressure to stop it
almost like the effect you get when you just ran through a puddle or the car
wash and try to stop.
