any car can be made to comfortably accept 15-16 psi, its a combination by
using the right parts and building a PROPER turbo engine, you need quality
recessed low compression pistons, there is a company named Ross that is the
absolute best and above j+e that makes 4 different lines of pistons for our
saturns, you would need a steel head gasket or have one made to further
lower the compression (you have them made to spec it can be one mil, two mil
etc.)
neither the xrc or sps head is built specifically for turbo, for turbo you
do not want flat top valves and some grinds on the cams that work for non
turbo application may not best be suited for turbo, due to NO testing of the
available different cams by anybody with a turbo saturn we as of now have no
way to compare this and what cam grind would be best.
thats a short break down, if you want a serious turbo motor let me know.
