The rev limiter and speed limiter both cut fuel…if you’re using an EIC with a turbo the EIC won’t get the message to cut or double its fuel, thus you’ll get the same Sudden Engine Death Syndrome associated with NOS.

I’ve been toying around with the idea of tricking the PCM…if you cut the MAP sensor reading in half and somehow modify the injectors to put out twice the fuel they’re supposed to, the computer will happily think it’s at its usual 10psia or so when in reality it’s pushing 6 pounds of boost, and spraying enough fuel to cover it.  This also gets around the super lean problem; when the PCM cuts fuel it can actually cut all the fuel and thus not frag your engine.  This also means you don’t need an EIC at all, the stock PCM can do it.

Too bad I haven’t quite figured out the details, but honestly I think it sounds simple enough to be pretty easy.  I hope.

I don’t know bout the rev limiter with Turbo, but I know that hitting a rev limiter that cuts fuel when spraying nitrous will lean out the engine enough to destroy it.

I seem to recall that a rev limiter plus a turbo meed a nice explosion.  is that true?  how about a gov. at 125?  does that do the same thing?
