Not necessarily.. It is extremely easy to hit the rev limiter with a turbo. There have been many occasions that I found myself bouncing off the limiter on the 1~2 and 2~3 shift. When the boost comes up, the car will really race towards redline.. 27,000+ miles later and the car still ran strong..
I've only hit the fuel cut-off point a few times under full boost. You have to be careful though, especially if you are running a piggy-back fuel system. With the SDS I would be able to get a bit past the 125 mph fuel cut point since the SDS will still provide fuel.
