I can't help much since I've done this on a 95 and that�s a bit different
from your car. Just be patient though and search around all the edges of the
piece you want to remove. Sometimes you have to remove a different piece to
get to the one you want.

Try looking on the Net for a how-to on what gauge faces install. I know you
not installing gauge faces but it should help in taking the dash apart.

Also if you don't have a Chiltons or Haynes manual yet go get one. They both
have some OK pictures of all the dash pieces that should help at least a
little bit.
