Hi Nick:

The Spy Radios Yahoo group was started with some interest in burst transmissions using equipment like the GRC-109 and GRA-71
http://www.prc68.com/I/GRC109.shtml
http://www.prc68.com/I/GRA71.shtml

Since it's just Morse code it may not be considered a code, but it does take a lot of bandwidth so I'm not sure what frequency would be legal. You might ask at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SpyRadios/

Have Fun,

Thanks to all of you who offered suggestions on picking up
numbers stations in Los Angeles. I'll try these out...
Also, should any of you be interested in cryptologic equipment,
I have some on my webpage at:
http://www.sscnet.ucla.edu/geog/gessler/collections/cryptology.htm
I'm new at short-wave-listening, but hope to contribute as I learn more.
I do have some code-burst equipment, and would hope to record some
bursts and slow them down. Is there anyone interested in doing this?
Cheers,
Nick
