Don't let a bunch of silver hair's who only tolerate operating in a echo
chamber run you out of radio. I too let my license go for the same
reasons as you but instead of leaving I just moved on to places where
ham's aren't. Plenty of available spectrum out there with much more
interesting people and conversations with no silly clubs or associations.

Not here sir! I have ask for held with upgrading and no one would OR the give
classes that start at $100 plus book(which they sell)
My license expires in DEC and I will sell all my gear.
I was told when I first wanted to be a ham that hams were snobs. Now I have
found out that it is true. I no longer wish to be a ham.
I still 11 m and find it for more enjoyable than anything ham.
