Last night I was talking to freind about Tripod bags. I am in the market
for a bag, and based on our previous discussions, I have decided to buy
a Domke bag. My freind Dave had a great idea that I thought I would pass
along. While using tripod bags are a great way to carry the tripod, it
can still be damaged or dented. My freind Dave has taken some round foam
pipe insulation and cut it to length for the legs and secured it with a
couple pieces of gaff tape. Your tripod legs are now protected from
being banged up while being carried in the field or traveling the
airport baggage highways. I am gonna try it myself.
