I've posted this in a couple of other places, but in case anyone missed
it....
I would really appreciate any comments you might have after viewing the
site. This is a little bit of an experiment for me, trying a different
organization from the previous site I did about the Keokuk Junction
Railway.

I would like to announce the opening of my new web site featuring Michigan's
Lenawee County Railroad, a short line which operated in the southeastern
corner of the state between 1977 and 1990. This all-Alco railroad was one of
several "designated operator" roads that were created by the State of
Michigan's purchase or lease of former-Penn Central trackage that would have
been abandoned at the formation of Conrail in 1976.
My site features a photo gallery, a brief history of the LCRC, a map showing
trackage operated, and a modelling section prepared with the help of Doug
Leffler, whose "Lenawee Central Railroad" layout was based on the LCRC and
featured in the January 1981 issue of "Railroad Model Craftsman".
