I also have a loco # + address # story. My home's street address is "6130". My close friend joins the New York City Police Department and is assigned NYPD badge #6130! We went on a railfan trip to Harrisburg, PA a few years ago. Here comes a three-unit freight with CR 6130 as the middle unit, running backward. My friend was ecstatic and took many photos as it passed. Not a shot that would have pleased the "sporrs crowd", but you have to get what you can. Last winter, I am driving with the same friend in New Jersey. We're on a road that passes near Conrail's Brown's Yard in Old Bridge. As we get closer, I see a set of three C40's, and guess which one was in the lead? CR6130! It was perfectly posed, blue skies, sun in the right place, couldn't be better. The irony? I've only seen CR 6130 twice, and both times I had NYPD 6130 with me. He thinks I planned it both times!
