Cheez-doodles and seagulls.
As a midwesterner who has traveled to east coast (and lived in the
Rhode Island) I suspect that the confusion wasn't with the seagulls but
what a cheez-doodle. I might be up to spped on my light metering but I
feel more than qaulified to translate the omni cheez doodle as a
food-like substance except for the absence of natural ingredents,
vitimins, minerals (ooh but does have sodium and food coloring).
Based on Zakas's description we midwesterns can no long lay sole
claim to the term fly-over country.
