I don't use a program that acually prints on slides, but I do use a
database that I created in FileMaker Pro which is tailored to railroad
slides, and the kind of information that I keep track of on slides. It's
searchable by railroad, location, engine number, or even general subject
areas like scenery, depots, etc. I have found it invaluable to have my
slides searchable, and entering the info on my computer takes only
slightly longer than only labeling the slides themselves.

Any list readers using FileMaker Pro on a Mac can have a copy of my
templates and use them if they like them. They're very small in size, and
work great on compact Macs like SEs and Classics.
