If you read Sports Illustrated, you will regularly see photos credited 
to Richard Mackson.

He's an LA-based photog for SI; has a chemical engineering degree as 
well.

Mackson is a Kodachrome loyalist. He invented the new Kodachrome process 
and sold the process to Kodak.
