I get fingerprints and dirt on a lot of my slides. I also have two cats who climb all over everything. In most cases, a blower brush cleans the dirt and cat hair. For fingerprints and other smudges, I have been using something called ECCO-1500. It was given to me by a professional cinematographer. He used it to clean movie film and slides. He also gave me a box of cotton cloths, about 3.5 inches square, for using on the film.
