I have been using a Canon Rebel and 28-85 3.5-4.5 and 75-300 4-5.6 and have had great results 98% of the time using it on full auto exposure. I had been using a Pentax SF-1 and was disappointed with its metering and reliability. Had the Elan II been available I would have spent the extra $100 for its features, but at the time the next leap up was the A2 and that was too much for the "hobby" budget. I have been using it since 1993 and couldn't be happier. (Thanks Dave) Roger P.S. I still carry my K1000 and 2 lenses for backup -> SPORRS: 'Serious Photographers Of Railroad Related Subjects' -> Web Site: http://www.anet-stl.com/acphotog/sporrs/ -> Message © 1998 SPORRS® - All Rights Reserved
