For the general info of SPORRS readers: It's starting to look like MILW/SOO/CP's Springhill Tower on the south end of Terre Haute may be in trouble. There is fairly good info making the rounds that the dispatchers will be moving to Latta yard in Jasonville this summer if not sooner. The fate of the tower would be uncertain after that, in fact one of the dispatchers there is convinced that it will be dozed. For those of you that want to get some shots, sooner may be better than later. I'll try to post any more facts as I get them, but for now, better safe than sorry. You can bet I'll be down there a lot this spring. It would be very ironic if Haley tower was to outlast Springhill.
