        I have had the green cast happen to me on two occasions in 1996, and 
both of
those were hot days, so I'd believe your meterogical theory.  The Bay Area
stays pretty temperate during the whole year, and I haven't noticed any wacko
color shifts in doing slides, except for those 90°+ hot days.
